Mommies N Munchkins Fair

I am very excited about the Mommies N Muchkins Fair happening Sunday April 15th at the historic Fort Langley Community Hall. The fair is from 10am – 4pm and admission is FREE!       I met up with the organizers of the fair to find about more about what families can expect.

What made you decide to organize the Mommies N Munchkins Fair?

We felt there was a need for a fun family fair in the Fraser Valley!  Being small business owners ourselves, we were excited to get this off the ground.  It is an opportunity to display local talent, vendors and services for mothers and families!  We are happy to make the first event free to ensure the maximum attendance for our exhibitors!

Who are some of the exhibitors/vendors we can expect to see at the Fair?

Some of the vendors we have secured include Bullfrogs & Butterflies Photography, Ta Ta Tents, Bookas, Little Monkey Store, Muggabug, Best Beginnings Doula Care, Eternally Hooked, and many more!  We also have some awesome sponsors this year, such as Harrison Hot Springs, UC Baby, Coco Globo, Kids Vancouver, Lower Mainland Children's Directory, Toy Traders and Busy Bump Maternity Services!

What are some of the things going on for kids/families at the Fair?

There will be facepainiting by The Doodle Girls, balloon displays by Coco Globo, the Langley Fire Department onsite and we are hoping to secure a princess for all the little girls!  We are also pleased to have Suburban Spoon coming with their gourmet food truck onsite to serve snacks and lunch.  There will be coffee too!  We will have many door prizes... one at each vendor table and bigger prizes as well, one being our grand prize: Get Wet Package which includes: two nights accommodation for up to a family of four, breakfast each day, water slides and bumper boats!!  Visit our facebook page to see our announcements of all the vendors and prizes!

If you are business looking to connect with families and would like to be an exhibitor they are currently offering an Early Bird Special so be sure to contact them at as soon as possible. The early bird deadline is January 31st.

For more information about the fair and the exhibitors you can visit their website at

I look forward to seeing more events and family fairs out in the Fraser Valley put on by these two talented ladies.

Hope to see you there!

Too Bad, sound like it might be fun but it's too far for us to attend. There are so many other great events going on closer to city.
